Suzanne and Andrea Strassburger-better known as the Sirloin Sisters-are the fifth generation of their family meat business. In an industry dominated by males, these two city living cowgirls deliver the best in beef and continue the 150-year old tradition of their family.

Since 2007, the Sirloin Sisters have been asked to star on nine ten reality television shows. After having met with producers, Suzanne and Andrea decided that the real stars are the meat products made in America and the people who grow our food. Let's celebrate them!

At a young age, it seemed unlikely for Andrea to go into the family meat business. She started her career working in the fashion industry-a world away from her family's business. Although meat may have not been her passion in her 20's while working in SOHO, Andrea did hold a strong passion for supporting her family and keeping up their five generation tradition.

Andrea "Angus" Strassburger left the fashion world and entered the meat business. With her charm and street smarts, she found her place as the accounts manager at Strassburger. More than ten years later, Andrea continues to hold one of the most important positions in the company. However, her true motive is to continue to build the legacy her family started 150 years ago and promote their story.

A true New York City girl, Andrea focuses much of her energy on supporting the city. She voices her strong admiration for New York chefs and restaurant owners with whom she has maintained invaluable relationships for years.

In addition, Andrea created a campaign called Sisters Salute with her sister, Suzanne, to support the soldiers, sailors, marines, coast guard, and airmen's club in the New York City area. Her charity works to provide accommodations at subsidized rates and club-type facilities for members of the Armed Forces, Veterans and their families and those of our Allies in New York. Because of her efforts, she was named an honorary marine.
